Why is ps3 account management under maintenance today?

i just got LBP(littlebigplanet) beta and i cant go to account management and download it.... y isnt it letting me in? is it updating or adding new avatars?|||silly question. every site goes under maintenance. go ask them the same question and get the same answer.
