My Maintenance grant and loan was supposed to go into my account on Thursday! I've got to pay halls do I have to wait 5 days for it to clear or should it have gone in immediately!
As always Student Finance cannot be contacted and their website provides no help at all!!|||Student Finance is in a mess at the moment, if you have financial notification detailing payments, go to your uni and seek an access to learning fund, this will give you cash until your loan comes through. It shouldn't take any longer than 5 days to clear but the backlog means lots of people are without funding.|||i got mine on the 28th of october. student finance are an absolute joke, keep pressuring them and keep on their case so it does get sort out in the end. it will all make sense when your account is up 拢1,700 and you laugh while drinking your first drink courtesy of them (and tax payers)|||In most cases your financial aid awards will disperse to the school or university you are attending about 3 weeks once the semester starts. If you are eligible for any type of refund from the awards it will normally come about 5 weeks into the semester. This is just an example of what the normal time line will run for someone using government aid through the FAFSA
