I have been trying to get on all day and it won't let me. It keeps saying fb is down for maintenance and will be up again in a few hours, my other friends can get on facebook though without this problem. Anyone know what's up? Thanks :)|||OK, FB is huge. They have millions of users and therefore have to have hundreds if not thousands of servers. When they do maintenance they have to apply it to every server eventually. The server that you connect to happens to be the server that is down for maintenance. While your friends are connected to a different server, which may have already received maintenace or is still waiting for maintenance.
If you log out of your browser and wait a few minutes then log in again your machine may connect to a different server which is working.|||maybe something is wrong with your computer|||oh!! great now you've made me log into facebook to check... oh it works for me. whew. it might be your internet provider (you know cuz they wana mess up ur life) muahaha. eh hem. but as i was saying maby ur isp is blocking you or prehaps fb is blocking your ip address.|||It means just that. All websites have down time for maintenance. Try waiting a few minutes to an hour. Go read a book or watch a movie in the meantime :)|||May be there is some problem with your internet cookies just check them out if problem persist then call your administration or try some another net browser.|||Mine's done the same thing all day too...
