Ive recently purchased a PS3, and Im trying to create an account for the PSN, but for the past four days Ive been getting a "Site Under Maintenance" screen (on both their website and the PS3), and I cant find out anything about it besides it being down for today in the UK.
Any help is greatly appreciated!|||The login / signup page itself has been effectively permanently down sine the PSN hack in April and there's no estimate, if ever, it'll be fixed. However, you should be able to sign up on your PS3 with no problem. Unless they are doing maintenance in the UK for some reason, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to use your PS3 to do it.
Edit: If it was purchased used and it wasn't cleared out before, then you just may need to format it:
Settings %26gt; System Settings %26gt; Restore PS3 System
That will completely format the drive and reinstall the PS3 software. Be aware you may need to have the firmware update on an external device:

From there, setup the PS3 to connect to the internet:
Settings %26gt; Network Settings %26gt; Internet Connection Settings %26gt; Easy or Custom
Finally, sign up for the PSN:

NOTE: Sign up tutorial may be out of date, but still has the basic information.|||Try to Hit circle then select it over and over doesn't work then wait maybe 1 to 4 days you never know it could be in 4 minutes lol , Choose as best answer if helped thanks !
